NSTRU joins the glorification ceremony in honor of the King Rama 10

Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Kanata Thatthong, President of Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University attended the glorification ceremony in honor of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua and signed the registrar to congratulate the king. The ceremony was held by the Council of Rajabhat University Presidents of Thailand which was attended by the President from 38 Rajabhat Universities across Thailand, administrators, staff and as well as educational institution staff, government offices and the private sector. These people came to congratulate the king on his 67th birthday held on the 28th of July 2019 at the Meeting Room 1, Puttawitchalai Building of Phra Nakhon Rajabhat University.

Gen. Dapong Ratanasuwan, Privy Councelor, presided over the ceremony in celebration of the king’s birthday, and then went on stage to present a flower tray in front of His Majesty’s portrait, opened the flower case cover to pledge loyalty and respect to King Rama 10 before reading out a speech honoring the king and wishing him fortune and prosperity. Further he ceremonially paid respect to the Buddhist holy objects.

All participants also joined the volunteer spirit activities by planting Yellow Star trees in honor of His Majesty the King. Yellow Star trees are viewed as His Majesty’s emblem. His Majesty the King has planted Yellow Star trees at places where His Majesty has visited and presided over royal ceremonies. Yellow Star trees virtually represent His Majesty the King and herald good luck for the people.
