NSTRU supports the 41th Thailand National Student Games, Regional 8 Qualification Round ;SRI THAMMARAT GAMES

Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University led by Asst. Prof. Kanata Thatthong, Ph.D., President of Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University, supported the 41th Thailand National Student Games, Regional 8 Qualification Round "SRI THAMMARAT GAMES" by facilitating competition venues in a total of eight different sports, namely Football, Sepak Trakraw, Athletics, Petanque, Tabel Tennis, Volleyball, and Swimming.

Also, the opening ceremony of the 41th Thailand National Student Games, Regional 8 Qualification Round entitled, "SRI THAMMARAT GAMES" was held at Convention Hall, Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University on November 25, 2019. The ceremony welcomed the presence of many honorable guests including Mr. Siripat Phatkul, Governor of Nakhon Si Thammarat who also presided over the ceremony. There were over 500 athletes and audiences attended the festive activity. The sport event is conducted in order to promote better health among the school students and encourage students to have the opportunity to use their skills and experience from their training to participate in sports competitions while strengthening mutual collaboration and friendship among the school members nationwide. It is also the recruiting of outstanding athletes to develop into a high level of competition.

The 41th Thailand National Student Games, Regional 8 Qualification Round “SRI THAMMARAT GAMES” is organized by Nakhon Si Thammarat Provincial Office of Tourism and Sports, which will be scheduled to compete during November 19-30, 2019. Qualified athletes on each type of sport will be representative of Regional 8, will also be sent to participate at national level in Udoin Thani Province.
