The 3rd time of Children University project by Faculty of Science and Technology

Faculty of Science and Technology, Nakhon Si Thammarat University held Children’s University Project for the third time of the fiscal year 2018 at the Building 30, Faculty of Science and Technology and the Building 13, Science Centre on May 18, 2018 from 08.30am – 05.00pm.

239 school students and 14 teachers from Cha-Uat Witthayakarn School and Baan Nam Sap School joined. The activities were divided into 8 stations from 9 program, by having lecturers and students from every department be the moderators.

Thailand Young Children University is a project under Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The project was initiated first time after HRH visited the children university at Shanghai Institute for Biological Sciences at Shanghai, People’s Republic of China in 2010. The project was very successful from the activities that enhanced primary and secondary school students to learn various scientific-related activities. Experts, researchers, undergraduate students, graduate and PhD students acting as mentors provided assistance during the activities.
