NSTRU celebrates the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s (Rama IX) 86th Birthday Anniversary

On August 9th, 2018, Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University held the celebration of the auspicious occasion of HM Queen Sirikit’s (Rama IX) 86th Birthday Greeting Ceremony on the 12thof August, 2018. University administrators were led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Kanata Thatthongm President of Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University together with the Deans, lecturers, staff, a group of student, representatives from outside and communities nearby attended the ceremony to express their loyalty in front of the royal portrait at Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University.

The auspicious ceremony began at 06.00a.m., there will be a merit making by offering food to 87 monks in front of the Office of the President.
At 07.00am, Asst. Prof. Dr. Kanata Thatthong, President of Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University, who presided over the ceremony and went on the stage to present a flower tray in front of Her Majesty’s portrait, and then opened the flower case cover, placed joss sticks and candles. The ceremony ended with candle lighting and the participants cited the words of blessings to Queen Sirikit (Rama IX).

The ceremony was held for students, staff and people from outside to demonstrate the love and loyalty towards Her Majesty. The ceremony also showed the unity of all as the citizens of Thailand. On the same day, Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University carried out the tree planting activity to celebrate the birthday of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, on the 12th of August 2018 at Son Soi Forest learning center, Sichon district, Nakhon Si Thammarat province.
