Faculty of Science and Technology, NSTRU joins Thai Red Cross Society to organize the Blood Donation activity

Faculty of Science and Technology, Nakhon Si Thammarat University joined the Thai Red Cross Society to organize the “Merit Making by Donating Blood” activity. The activity was held on November 18, 2018 at the activity lawn, the Faculty of Science and Technology. A great number of lecturers, personnel, and students came to donate blood.

Blood donation can be thought of as an action that extends people’s lives. So many times we are unable to provide enough blood as planned. It became hard when someone needs blood so urgently. Treatment can be slowed down or done inefficiently. With these reasons, Faculty of Science and technology came up with this activity of blood donation for merit making. The purpose is to the blood would be allocated to several hospitals in Nakhon Si Thammarat province or other hospitals in the vicinity, where blood is never adequate. Besides, the activity helps to instill NSTRU students to be aware of the good action as a “giver”.
