NSTRU Humanities lecturers and student attend the 3rd National and International Conference on Weaving ASEAN Cultural Connection “ASEAN Art and Craft”

Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University attended to present the research work in the 3rd National and International Conference on Weaving ASEAN Cultural Connection “ASEAN Art and Craft” at the Abode of Culture, Walailak University on August 30, 2018.

Three lecturer and one student participated in the presentation: 1) Mr. Daycho khaenamkhaew, 2) Mr. Udomsak Dechochai, 3) Miss Jittima Damrongwattana, lecturers from the Department of Community Development and 4) Mr. Niwat Prajak, a 3nd year Community Development major who presented their research work entitled “Sai Yan : The folk wisdom of Tattoo. Case study : The Network of Wat Major in Moo 12, Nawae sub-district, Chawarng District, Nakhon Si Thammarat province, Thailand”, the study supervised by Professor Chuan Petkaew, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Boonyong Ketthet, and Asst.Prof.Dr. Nibondh Tipsrinimit.

Presentation of academic work was aimed to promote and create academic atmosphere and a venue for students at the university level to present their research work to the public. It is also the venue for exchanges of knowledge and academic information that can be extended for the benefits of the learning society among institutions. At the same time, a network was formed for lecturers, students, and officers of each institution.
