NSTRU Techno students attend the 21st Honda Eco Mileage Challenge

NSTRU’s five techno students together with two lecturers majoring in Mechanical Engineering attended the 21st Honda Eco Mileage Challenge which will be held on November 12-13, 2018 at Chang International Circuit, Buriram Province.

Dr. Apisan Siripan, Dean of Faculty of Industrial Technology said, “Before a group of students and lectures will leave, they met the President for requesting his blessings.  For this year, it is the 21st Honda Eco Mileage Challenge which was organized annually to enhance the potential on automotive engineering to Thai students, then would become a quality engineer for their future occupation or continuing studies. It is necessary for the faculty to emphasize to give the opportunities for them who study in mechanical engineering program. This competition will be a real learning place, enabling students to show their potential and apply what they have learned in class, leading to the auto invention and finding out innovation that affect the auto has the most fuel saving rate, learning in a wide perspective, and raising good awareness of environment. Each year, more than 400 teams would be sent to participate in the competition. As for, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University also has been the ones who participated for many years, and realized throughout the importance of participating. And this year, we do hope our students will be get victorious and continuously participate in international competitions”.
