NSTRU mechanical engineering students win the fifth place in 21st Honda Mileage Challenge

Big congratulations went to a group of mechanical engineering students and lecturers of Faculty of Industrial Technology, Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University, under the name “NSTRU Eco-Racing” on winning the fifth prize in a 21st Honda Mileage Challenge Competition, the event was held by A.P. Honda Co.,Ltd. on November 12-13, 2018 at Chang International Circuit, Buriram. This year, the competition welcomed a total of 34 teams from several universities all over the country.

The Honda Eco Mileage Challenge competition is a fair competition where participants combine creativity, imagination and technological insights to design cars that have the competitive advantage of fuel efficiency.

Originated from Japan in 1981, Honda Eco Mileage Challenge (EMC) is an event aimed to save fuel and protect the environment and it has gone through 37 years. The Honda Eco Mileage Challenge competition is a fair competition where participants combine creativity, imagination and technological insights to design cars that have the competitive advantage of fuel efficiency. The competition aims to enhance creative joy in teamwork, as well as environmental awareness for young people. Until now, the contest has not only been held in Japan but also spread to other Asian countries such as Thailand, China and Vietnam
