Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University holds 1st/2019 of University Council Meeting




On the 10th of January, 2019, at the Thorkaew Conference Room on 3rd Floor, the Office of the President of Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University, 1st meeting/2019 of the Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University Council was held with Dr. Kowit Phuangngam, President of Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University Council, presiding over the meeting. In addition, Asst. Prof. Dr. Kanata Thatthong, President, Dr. Thanaporn Muangmunkun, Vice President for Student Affairs, Secretary of the Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University Council, University Council board members and university administrators by nearly 40 people, attended the meeting organized by the office of the University Council.

The theme of the University Council meeting was to find ways to drive the investment fund management policy of the university, set policies and steering Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University towards its primary goals under a quality system of checks and balances, discuss the different topics including; current issues on the university administration, the future trend of the university university’s enterprises management, teaching, learning and curriculum development, and personnel administration and development. In addition, the meeting carried out new curriculum evaluation and approval on creation of College of Music, Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University to accommodate students in very near future.

Even more, the MOA (Memorandum of Agreement) in financial management services through the Krungthai Digital Platform system between Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University and KTB (Krungthai Bank) was signed and officially agreed at that day. It proves how active both organizations are.

Also, there was certificate of appreciation ceremony to the Techno lecturers and students who attended to compete in the WEM Japan Grand prix Final Round Energy Challenge Okinawa 2018 in Okinawa, Japan on December 29-31, 2019, and the primary students at Satit Demonstration School who took part as the athletes and swept several medals in different sports of the 25th Harmony Demonstration School Sports Competition called the “Suriya Games”, which was held from the 2nd until the 4th of January, 2019 at Srinakharinwirot University, Ongkarak Campus in Nakhon Nayok province.

On this occasion, the Nakhon Si Thammarat Provincial Industry Office presented a large number of canned sweet corn to the Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University Council as the donation articles to help victims of Tropical storm ‘PABUK’.
