NSTRU’s Communication Arts Program exchanges knowledge on production of TV media with SRU to promote harmony




On January 30-31, 2019, Third-year students and lecturers from the Department of Communication Arts (Public Relations) of NSTRU held an extracurricular activity entitled, “NexC Reporter Academy Workshop” to exchange knowledge on the topic of production of printed media and to share experience in producing news as well as promoting harmony between the Communication Arts Program of Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat Unviersity and Suratthani Rajabhat University.

In addition, the project is organized to enhance the operational skills of reporting for students, and allow them to gain knowledge and understanding about being a citizen journalist. The activities on the first day were the basic media production training, thinking of issues, questioning about "Election" for the first time in the opinions of new generation, and conducting activities on site. On the following day, it featured the training of video editing technique with "Premiere Pro" program and video editing with a smartphone and "Kinemaster" program, along with presentations and listening guidance from the speakers.

Miss Sutthida Buchata, a third year student majoring in Communication Arts of SRU and also been one of the participants said, “For two days from attending the training, I get new knowledge which I never learned before. It also allowed me to share experiences with friends from different institutions and urged to feel love in the duties of communicator. But it would be better if both universities’ students work together really.”

Miss Sawamon Thiangtham, a third year students majoring in Communication Arts of NSTRU said, “I was so glad to join this workshop to share the knowledge and experience that I had studied with friends from different institutions. Also, I was very happy to be a part who making a relationship between the two institutions
