NSTRU administrators attend C-RSPG Network Workshop of upper south




On February 25-26, 2019, Asst. Prof. Dr. Kanata Thatthong, President of Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University assigned Asst. Sucharee Kaewkong, Vice President together with Asst. Damrongphan Jaihowweeraphong, and Ajarn Prakit Chaithada to be the representatives to attend the C-RSPG network workshop of upper south area on the topic of “Operational Guidelines for Sustainable Network Strengthening” at Chalerm Phrakiat Meeting Room, Phuket Rajabhat University, Phuket.

RSPG or Plant genetic conservation project under the royal initiative of her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn is the project with the aims to promote understanding and awareness of personnel and organization about the importance of plant genetic conservation; to create links between various organizations, including government agencies and private sections on virtue foundation; and to build a plant genetics database system that is accessible around the country. The current operations are in the fifth year of the plan. The operation had three frameworks and eight supporting activities that focused on three resource bases: physical resources, biological resources and cultural and wisdom resources.
