Music Education student wins the honorable mention award for musical compositions of HMK Bhumibol Adulyadej singing contest

Congratulations to Mr. Santiwat Thong-Orn (Artie), a student majoring in Music Education of the Faculty of Education, Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University, who won the honorable mention award and received a prize fellowship of 5,000 baht in the final round of the Musical Composition of HMK Bhumibol Adulyadel Singing Contest, which were organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bangkok.

The event was honored to have Ms. Silapasuay Raweesangsoon, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Bangkok, who presided over the ceremony. Ajarn Wirat Yoothaworn, Chairman of the Judging Committee, Dr. Winai Phanturat, Advisor to the Jury Committee, Mrs. Vallaya Wattanarat, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism also presented the event. In the opening ceremony, there were the administrators, staff of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism as well as related persons joined in large numbers.

The final round contest and award presenting ceremony was on Sunday the 4th of August, 2019 at Sala Chalermkrung Royal Theatre, Bangkok.
