Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University attends the merit-making ceremony of 2019 as offerings to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s birthday

On August 12, 2019, at 06.30 a.m., Asst. Prof. Dr. Kanata Thatthong, President of Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University attended the merit-making ceremony to 98 monks as respect to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother on the occasion of her birthday on the 12th of August 2019 on behalf of Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University at the Sanam Na Muang Ceremonial Ground of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.

Phra Theppanyasuthee, the abbot of Wat Chaeng Worawiharn Temple (a royal monastery), Nakhon Si Thammarat was the chairperson of the monks and Mr. Jamroen Thipphayaphongtada, Nakhon Si Thammarat Governor was the chairperson of the laypersons.

The event was well-attended by the heads of many government offices, the judiciary, military officers, police officers and the general public from all walk of life from Nakhon Si Thammarat and neighboring areas. In addition, there were activities starting at 09.00 a.m. with a signing ceremony in honor of Her Majesty the Queen followed by a certificate of honor presentation ceremony to outstanding mothers who have been selected in varied categories of Nakhon Si Thammarat province.
