People in Nakhon Si Thammarat together celebrate the 87th birthday of the Queen Mother

In the evening of Monday the 12th of August 2019, at the Sanam Na Muang Ceremonial Ground of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University led by Asst. prof. Dr. Kanata Thatthong, President of Nakhon Si Thammarat took the lead of the administrators and staff of Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University to participate in the flower laying ceremony and candle-lighting blessing to pay obeisance on the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s birthday on the 12th of August 2019, together with civil servants, government officials, the judiciary, police officers, the army, businesses from the private sector, state enterprises, institutions, village heads and the general publics from all walk of life.

The ceremony was started at 7:00 p.m., by Mr. Jamroen Thoipphayaphongthada, Governor of Nakhon Si Thammarat, who presided over the ceremony, presented the royal offering, followed by opening the flower cover case, lighting the candles, giving a speech in honor the queen in front of Her Majesty the Queen’s portrait.

After that, all participants sang the royal psalms, Sadudee Phra Mae Thai song which was written by Chairat Wongkiatkachorn with composing by National Artist Virat Yuthavorn, before jointly uttering "Long Live the Queen" 3 times. At the event, there was a gigantic display of 442 fireworks to harmoniously pay tribute and demonstrate the loyalty to the queen.
