NSTRU joins a procession of Royal Golden Mharb in the 2019 Festival of Bun Sart Duen Sib

On September 27, 2019, Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University led by Asst. Prof. Kanata Thatthong, Ph.D, President of Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University, joined a procession carrying of the Royal Golden Mharb graciously granted by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn in the 2019 Festival of Bun Sart Duen Sib and Red Cross fair. The event was honored to Mr. Jamroen Thipphayaphonthada, Nakhon Si Thammarat Governor, who presided over the send-off ceremony for the Mhrab procession from the town hall to Wat Phra Mahathat Woramahawihan, the main Buddhist temple of Nakhon Si Thammarat. The colorful procession attracts both local residents and tourists. Also, the event was warmly received by both Thai and Foreigners, who were profoundly appreciative of royal benevolence in supporting Buddhism.

Asst. Prof. Kanata Thatthong, Pd.D, President of Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University said that, "Nakhon Si Thammaart province has cooperated with public agencies and private sectors to make proceeding the festival of Bun Sart Duen Sib and Red Cross of year 2019 during September 22 - October 1, 2019. This festival is considered as a major cultural and unique event which is held in southern Thailand, especially Nakhon Si Thammarat province. The objectives of the festival are to promote and continue local traditions and support tourism. This year, the Mhrab contest and Mhrab procession were scheduled to organize on September 27, 2019, calls for Nakhon Si Thammarat rajabhat University by the College of Arts and Culture to take this opportunity to join the activity with decorated Mhrab procession. Also, there were more than 100 administrators, lecturers, staff and students of the university attended the event".
