Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University joined the opening ceremony of the Project “Enhance the level of economy and the district society with an integration” (1 Tambon, 1 University Project)

On 4th November, 2020, Dr. Sompong Raksatham, Acting President, Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University assigned Asst.Proft. Damrongphun Jaihaoweerapong, Assistant to the President and Dr. Wichian Manlae, Deputy Director of Research and Development Institute. The honorable persons from Nakhon Si Thammarat Province who joined the opening ceremony of the Project “Enhance the level of economy and the district society with an integration” (1 Tambon, 1 University Project) This project is to acknowledge the policy, indicators, and the details of the project. Professor. Dr. Anek Laothammatat, the Premier of Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation was the presider of the opening ceremony. This project will create an employment for 60,000 individuals, the average is 20 persons per district and expanding to all 7,900 districts of Thailand. The goal number of employees from this project is 150,000 individuals in 80 universities in the future. The cooperation organizations for this project will be the government organizations, private organizations, and the populace from each area in accordance with the context, environment, resources, biodiversity, and cultural diversity.

The aim of this project is to bringing knowledge, technology, and innovation to help and enhance the level of economy and district society, through the employment of students, new graduates, as well as people in the area. The people who have been hired will also developed the skills and knowledge to improve themselves and the benefit is to develop their community because they understand the problem condition of their home area.
