The Art Thesis by HUSO




Department of Painting, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University recently presented an art thesis which has been carried out since the first semester of 2017. 11 fourth-year students will create a variety of artwork, including: portrait drawing, mixed media and others in order to demonstrate what they have learned throughout the past four years. This art thesis will show that you must not only research, but create works of art to gain knowledge to benefit themselves and society as a whole.
The art thesis was the first step towards success. The next step on this path is a commitment to pursue the ways to search; whether in the present or in the future. Moreover, the thesis was filled with skills, ideas, beliefs and a selection of new techniques through the approval and monitoring of an advisor.

“Truth Body Work” This art contribution by Mr.Natthapong Muenphet, was inspired by the resistance to surgery. He needed to let everyone understand one single truth. In the end, human aging is inevitable.

A masterpiece by Ms. Minnie Ruchpoomas was truly sparked in love. She added that her inspiration came from the family life of sexual minorities telling the story of life themselves, and expressed in her own painting.

Meanwhile, Mr. Siripong Wiriyaphan selected to narrate a deep connection of current since his childhood. In comparison with the virtual water lifestyle.

And the last ones were artwork by Ms. Sutthida Muangrod titled "Pretty poison". The painting was a gesture that was written with color and narrated the story of a young man who is tricked into marriage with a girl and cheated out of dowry. This presentation used a jellyfish as a representation of poison from a woman who may seem pretty clear outside, but the inside is filled with a poison that able to kill us.
