Personnel Recruitment Criteria


The university recruits hires, and promotes faculty members and evaluates their performance appropriately in accordance with rules and regulations. The details of faculty member recruitment in each category are as follows:


Recruitment and hiring
The university has three types of academic staff: civil servants in higher education institutions, university staff, and contract university staff. “Recruiting” and hiring each type of staff are as follows:
1. Recruitment of civil servants in higher education institutions: The university facilitates the transfer of civil servants in higher education institutions. This can be done in the case of a vacant position (not in the case of retirement) with 60 years of service.
2. Recruitment of university academic staff: The university conducts recruitment and selection according to approved plans and staffing frameworks from the university council. The method involves examination selection based on the criteria and procedures outlined in the announcement regarding the recruitment, appointment, and promotion of university academic staff in 2021, announced on June 18, 2021. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge, and specific ability to the position, present a thesis, undergo teaching practical tests, and pass English proficiency tests according to the university announcement.

The duration of contracts varies based on the following qualifications:
    For Master’s degree: the contract is extended for 3 fiscal years at a time
    For Doctoral degree or those holding assistant professor positions: the contract is extended for 5 fiscal years at a time
    For associate professors: employment is until retirement.

3. Contract university staff: The university will proceed with the recruitment of a contract university staff based on the specific qualifications required by the faculties. This recruitment process must adhere to the announcement of the Committee on Higher Education Standards regarding the standards for undergraduate programs in 2022. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge, and specific ability to the position, present a thesis, undergo teaching practical tests, and pass English proficiency tests in accordance with the university's announcement. Contract university staff are considered for renewal contracts each fiscal year, in accordance with the results of the performance evaluations, with a minimum rating of "good" (80% or above).

Additionally, the university will consider hiring staff over the age of 60. This consideration applies to individuals holding positions of associate professor or higher in the field of study that is lacking.
